Cover Supervisor – Lowestoft

We are currently recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Lowestoft and the surrounding area. Roles are available on a full-time or part-time basis, with flexible day-to-day, short-term, and longer-term opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young people and are looking to gain valuable classroom experience across a range of subjects and year groups.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher
Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain on task
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Support students to stay engaged and focused on learning
Report any issues or concerns to relevant staff

Requirements:

Experience working with young people (schools, coaching, youth work etc.)
Strong behaviour management skills
Confident, adaptable, and professional approach
Ability to build positive relationships with secondary-aged students
