EYFS Teacher Opportunity – Lowestoft Primary School

Teach Ltd is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Lowestoft for a fixed-term placement from September through to the Christmas break.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Early Years teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality early education and supporting children at the start of their learning journey.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for an EYFS class, delivering engaging, play-based learning that supports development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

The Role

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging EYFS lessons and activities

• Supporting learning through structured play and continuous provision

• Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment

• Assessing and tracking children’s early development and progress

• Supporting phonics, early literacy, and numeracy development

• Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff

• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers

• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times

The Ideal Candidate

Applicants should:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Have experience teaching within Early Years or Reception

• Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework

• Be creative, nurturing, and enthusiastic

• Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills

• Be reliable, professional, and adaptable

• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
