General Cover Supply Teachers – Secondary Schools in Great Yarmouth

Teach Ltd is currently recruiting reliable and adaptable General Cover Supply Teachers to support a range of secondary school clients across Great Yarmouth and the surrounding areas.

We are seeking enthusiastic teachers who are confident delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects and maintaining positive classroom environments within secondary schools.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers, experienced cover supervisors, ECTs, or educators looking for flexible teaching work within local schools.

The Role

Responsibilities may include:

• Delivering pre-set lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively

• Ensuring students remain engaged and on task

• Following school behaviour and safeguarding policies

• Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons

• Supporting pupils in maintaining a positive learning environment

• Adapting confidently to different school settings and subject areas

The Ideal Candidate

Applicants should:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), equivalent teaching qualifications, or relevant classroom experience

• Have experience working within secondary education

• Be confident managing classroom behaviour

• Demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, and reliability

• Be passionate about supporting young people in education

• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
