Music Teacher Required – Mildenhall Area
Teach Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Music Teacher to work within a supportive secondary school in the Mildenhall area.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Music Teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is passionate about developing students' musical knowledge, performance skills and creativity.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to support extra-curricular music activities, performances and school productions.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging Music lessons
Teaching practical and theoretical elements of the Music curriculum
Supporting vocal and instrumental development
Preparing students for assessments and examinations
Encouraging participation in performances, concerts and enrichment activities
Monitoring and assessing student progress
Maintaining positive behaviour and high classroom expectations
Contributing to departmental and whole-school initiatives
The Ideal Candidate
Applicants should:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have experience teaching Music within UK secondary schools
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
Possess strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
Be passionate about promoting music education and student engagement
Have excellent communication and organisational skills
Be committed to achieving positive outcomes for all learners
