About the Role

Teach is seeking a passionate and dynamic Music Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Ipswich. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 through creative and engaging music education. The ability to teach GCSE or A-Level Music is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Music lessons across KS3 and KS4, tailored to a range of abilities
• Contribute to the planning and development of the Music curriculum
• Prepare students for assessments, including GCSE and A-Level (if applicable)
• Support and lead extracurricular musical activities such as ensembles, choirs, and school performances
• Foster a love of music and creativity within the school community
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the wider cultural life of the school

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Music at secondary level
• Ability to teach GCSE and/or A-Level Music (desirable)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Enthusiasm for music education and extracurricular involvement
