About the Role
Teach is currently recruiting a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist educational setting in Hertfordshire. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to support children with a range of special educational needs, delivering tailored lessons that promote both academic progress and personal development.
This is a temporary position.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with SEND
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Support emotional, social, and behavioural development alongside academic goals
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to ensure consistent support
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to maximise outcomes
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working in an SEN setting (preferred)
- Strong understanding of a range of special educational needs and effective teaching approaches
- Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills
- Commitment to inclusion and helping every child reach their full potential
