About the Role

Teach is seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teacher to join a specialist educational setting in Norfolk. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to support children with a variety of special educational needs, delivering tailored lessons that promote academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with SEND
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development alongside academic goals
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to ensure consistent and effective support
  • Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to maximise outcomes

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working in an SEN setting (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong understanding of a range of special educational needs and effective teaching approaches
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills
  • Commitment to inclusion and helping every child reach their full potential
