SEN Teaching Assistant – Lowestoft

We are looking for a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a welcoming school in Lowestoft. This role involves working closely with teachers to provide tailored support for students with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.

You will play a key role in helping pupils access the curriculum, develop social skills, and build confidence in a structured and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
Assist with the delivery of differentiated learning activities
Support behaviour management and emotional regulation
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or SEN (desirable)
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
