SEN Teaching Assistant – Norwich

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Norwich. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.

You will play a vital role in helping students access learning, build confidence, and develop key social and emotional skills within a structured and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
Assist with the delivery of differentiated learning activities
Support behaviour management and emotional regulation
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or SEN (desirable)
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
