SEND Teaching Assistants Required – Norwich

Teach Ltd is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to support SEND provisions across the Norwich area on a supply basis.

We are looking for caring, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work with children and young people with a range of additional needs. The role may involve supporting pupils within small groups or providing dedicated 1:1 support, depending on the needs of the pupils and the requirements of the provision.

You will help pupils engage with their learning, develop their confidence and access activities within a calm and supportive environment. Responsibilities may include assisting with classroom activities, providing individual support, encouraging positive behaviour and working closely with teachers and other members of staff.

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND would be beneficial, although relevant experience in education, care or support work may also be considered. A patient, adaptable and positive approach is essential.

The position is offered on a temporary supply basis, with assignments offered subject to the requirements of the provision and your availability. Opportunities may include individual days and longer-term temporary assignments.
