Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage SEND provision across the setting
• Support the development, implementation, and review of EHCPs
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, carers, and external agencies
• Monitor pupil progress and ensure appropriate interventions are in place
• Promote inclusive teaching practices and positive outcomes for pupils with SEND
• Ensure statutory SEND responsibilities are met in line with current legislation
Requirements:
• SENCO qualification or relevant SENCO experience
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and EHCP processes
• Previous experience working within a SEND or specialist education setting
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
