Year 4/5 Teacher Opportunity in NR13

Teach Ltd is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4/5 Teacher to work within a welcoming primary school in the NR13 area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is confident working across Key Stage 2 and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that support pupil progress and attainment.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a mixed Year 4/5 class, ensuring high-quality teaching, effective classroom management, and a positive learning environment.

The Role

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging KS2 lessons across the curriculum

• Teaching a mixed Year 4/5 class effectively

• Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment

• Assessing and tracking pupil progress

• Managing behaviour in line with school policies

• Supporting literacy, numeracy, and foundation subjects

• Working collaboratively with school staff and leadership

• Ensuring continuity of learning and pupil engagement

The Ideal Candidate

Applicants should:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2

• Be confident managing a mixed-age class where applicable

• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills

• Be adaptable, reliable, and professional

• Hold a valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
